Brown House Museum
The Brown House Museum is located on North Harris Street and is one of several beautifully restored mostly Victorian homes just off the square. North Harris Street was formerly known as Silk Stocking Street because affluent ladies would hang their silk stockings over the porch railings advertising their wealth.
